Teaching Phases

If your office is like ours then perhaps you do a lot of remodel projects. One way to teach new users about phases and phase filters is to setup your project template with separate Existing and New Construction Floor plan views already setup (ie. 1st Floor Existing, 1st Floor Proposed, 2nd Floor Existing, 2nd Floor Proposed, etc). With phase specific views already established a new user can better grasp the phase and phase filter concepts.

Too often new users just start placing walls in Revit's default "Level 1" Floor Plan view which is ofcourse set to the New Construction Phase, only to realize later that they now have to switch all of their model objects over to the Existing Phase because they meant to work on As-Builts only.
